New Guidelines Issued For Child Ear Infections

New guidelines are out on ear infections and how to treat them in children.  The new guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend several ways to treat the infections based on the child's age and how severe the symptoms are. 

The guidelines also have more strict criteria for determining whether a child has an ear infection so doctors should be able to prescribe antibiotics more effectively.
