Hacking Computers With Sound Waves

Hacking Computers With Sound Waves
Your computer can be hacked with sound.

A new study says if your computer is audio enabled, hackers may be able to break into it using sound waves.

Researchers in Germany found that hackers no longer need physical access over an Internet connection or shared phone lines.

They've published their findings in the Journal of Communications.

Theoretically, audible noises can be used to pass data between computers and hackers, but the scientists were actually able to do test this using sound human ears can't hear.

They were also able to hack into a completely unconnected computer from 65 feet away.
