Missing USC Student

 

GLENDALE (CNS) - Authorities today sought the public's help in locating a missing possibly suicidal 26-year-old USC medical student last seen leaving his Glendale apartment.

Derek Adam Seehausen walked from his residence in the 400 block of West Glenoaks Boulevard in Glendale about 6 a.m. Tuesday and has not been seen or heard from since, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Seehausen has not been attending classes recently, according to the the USC Department of Public Safety.

His family is fearful for his welfare, according to the LAPD, which reported that Seehausen might be suicidal.

He is described as white, 6 feet tall, about 180 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes and was wearing a light-colored T-shirt and blue jeans when last seen.

Anyone with information concerning Seehausen's whereabouts was urged to call to call USC police at (213) 740-6000 or detectives at the LAPD's Rampart Division at (213) 484-3400. After hours or weekend calls should be directed to (877) LAPD-24-7.
