D.C. Pepsi Machine Found to be Vending Malt Liquor

A Pepsi machine in the Northeast neighborhood of Trinidad was recently found by police to be vending malt liquor, offering neighborhood kids a clever—albeit totally illegally—means to get booze.

According to a tweet from a meeting of the Trinidad Neighborhood Association meeting last night, an MPD officer informed neighbors of the presence of the rogue vending machine, which had apparently been in place for a few months. Danielle Bays, the association's president, said that police have disabled the machine—but that no one has yet taken responsibility for it.
