HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - Police today said the death of a man at the Magic Castle in Hollywood was being investigated as an apparent suicide.
The magic community is mourning the death of a magician whose body was found hanging in a closet by an employee at Hollywood's Magic Castle. 61-year- old Daryl Easton was reportedly scheduled to perform at the Magic Castle on Friday night. Police are investigating his death as an apparent suicide. The grim discovery prompted the famed private club on Franklin Avenue to close for the night.
“There was no sign or evidence of crime,'' Ward said.
Employees of the club told NBC4 the magician's body was found right before he was supposed to perform.
