Santa Cruz Police Looking For Motorcyclist Who Struck 9-Year-Old Boy

Santa Cruz police are asking for the public's help to identify a motorcyclist who struck a 9-year-old boy over the weekend, fleeing the scene. 

The boy was walking with his mother on Mission Street near Van Ness Avenue on Sunday afternoon when a motorcyclist who had been splitting lanes hit the child. 

The boy was taken to a local trauma center with serious injuries, but he's expected to be OK.
