Amazon's New Move: Try, Then Buy

Shopping giant Amazon has announced they will be launching a new service for its Prime members.

Try it out, before you decide to buy.

The service will be called Prime Wardrobe and customers will be given a week after their package is received to decide which of their purchases they want to buy and which ones they want to return without being charged.

Morningstar analyst Bridget Weishaar says the company's already surging apparel sales are helping them compete with other major retailers.

"If I were Macy's, I'd be scared by this. Amazon is offering a very convenient way to avoid going to stores."

Brands involved in the Prime Wardrobe program Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Adidas, Levi's, and possibly Amazon's private-label clothing line.

Customers will receive a 20 percent discount when they keep five or more items and all packages are shipped in a resealable box with a prepaid label for returns.
