Things keep getting worse for Mario Batali. One day after 60 Minutes aired an interview with a woman accusing the TV chef of sexual assault, the NYPD confirmed that Batali is under criminal investigation. Batali's accuser believes she was drugged and assaulted at one of Batali's parties in 2015. NYPD has confirmed it is investigating those allegations. Batali denies that he sexually assualted the woman but has apologized for "deeply inappropriate" behavior in the past. He also claims he is not attempting any return to TV and is focused on "finding a personal path forward" and continuing his charitable work.
