Little Change to Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.759, one day after increasing nine-tenths of a cent.

The average price is at its highest amount since Aug. 20, 2015, and 1 cent more than one week ago, 12 cents higher than one month ago and 69.2 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 60.9 cents since the start of the year.

The average price has not changed by more than one-tenth of a cent for six of the past seven days.

The Orange County average price rose two-tenths of a cent Thursday to $3.728, one day after increasing eight-tenths of a cent. It is at its highest amount since Aug. 20, 2015 and 1.5 cents more than one week ago, 12.7 cents higher than one month ago and 67.3 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 61.2 cents since the start of the year.
