New details are being revealed about an Inland Empire couple accused of abusing their 13-children. The sister of Louise Turpin describes her increasingly bizarre behavior in a new tell-all book, "Sisters of Secrets." The author writes that Turpin had been reading about satanic religions and was practicing witchcraft before she and her husband David were arrested at their Perris home.
She adds that she noticed changes ten-years ago, when Turpin started drinking and gambling more and cut off her family. Attorneys for the Turpins say they have not read the book and will not allow Louise to comment about it.
The couple has plead not guilty to dozens of felony charges, after their kids ages two to 29 were found extremely malnourished and shackled to their beds in January.
