Harvey Weinstein 'offered acting jobs in exchange for sex'

Harvey Weinstein just reached out to journalist Taki with Spectator with a "world exclusive". The exclusive? Inside info on the #MeToo movement and the celebrity women who have accused him of sexual harassment.

Weinstein, currently awaiting his prison sentence, told Taki,

“You were born rich and privileged and you were handsome. I was born poor, ugly, Jewish and had to fight all my life to get somewhere. You got lotsa girls, no girl looked at me until I made it big in Hollywood. Yes, I did offer them acting jobs in exchange for sex, but so did and still does everyone. But I never, ever forced myself on a single woman.”

Weinstein went on to talk about Asia Argento's relationship with Anthony Bourdain and how she lied when she stated their relationship was an open one.

Taki also talks about his doubts with women "who come out of the woodworks years later, or return for more after allegedly being raped by Weinstein."

In the end, Taki just seems to profess his love for Weinstein and his movies and thinks he has lost enough and implies he should not serve time for getting caught harassing women when the majority of other filmmakers do it too.

It all feels a little scripted, just like everything in Hollywood.
