Tuesday night is the 2019 State of the Union Address.
President Trump is expected to speak on his potential border wall, as well as other orders of business after the 35-day government shutdown. But the President will also have a few guests that are not even in the country legally.
At least four Congress members have invited undocumented immigrants as their guests to the address. Some of which spent years working at Trump's New Jersey golf club.
But even though these Congress members invited illegal immigrants to the address while knowing the risks, they are still worried about any action the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement may take.
“Our office raised serious concerns about potential law enforcement action, as well as any kind of retribution [from the White House]," said Courtney Cochran, Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman's communications director.
ICE declined to comment on their involvement with the illegal immigrants attending the State of the Union address.
According to The Daily Beast, attorneys and translators will be within reach of the immigrants during their entire visit in the nation's capital.
The 2019 State of the Union Address will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at 6:00 PM (PT).
