Woman Fatally Stabbed At Nightclub, Another Woman Arrested

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A woman died this morning after being stabbed at Catch One, a popular Arlington Heights nightclub, and another woman has been arrested in connection with her death, authorities said.

Both women were in their early 20s, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the LAPD's Media Relations Section.

Officers were dispatched at 12:30 a.m. to the 4000 block of West Pico Boulevard, Cervantes said.

Paramedics dispatched to the same location at the same time transported two people to an area hospital, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The stabbing victim was rushed to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries, said Cervantes, adding that a woman in her early 20s was arrested in connection with the stabbing.

The condition of the second person transported to an area hospital was not known.
