Wouldn't it be nice to know exactly what a politician thinks of you? A 2016 clip of Democratic presidential hopeful Michael Bloomberg's condescension toward farmers is drawing renewed backlash.

"I could teach anybody, even people in this room, to be a farmer. It's a process. You dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on top, add water, up comes the corn... Now comes the information economy, and the information economy is fundamentally different, because it's built around replacing people with technology... And the skillsets that you have to learn are how to think and analyze. That is a whole degree level different. You have to have a different skillset, you have to have a lot more grey matter."

Newsweek reports Bloomberg made the comments in a talk at the Saïd Business School at England's University of Oxford.

Other Democratic candidates have spoken out about Bloomberg's comments.

“The point is that $60 billion can buy you a lot of advertising, but it can’t erase your record,” former Vice President Joe Biden said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

What do you think of his comments? Do you Bloomberg lacks respect for blue collar workers?
