NASCAR Driver Ryan Newman in Serious Condition Following Daytona 500 Crash

A day after a major crash at the Daytona 500, doctors say NASCAR driver Ryan Newman remains in critical condition at a Florida hospital.

According to a statement released by Rousch Fenway Racing, the team behind the Number Six Ford that Newman was driving, says he is expected to survive,

The 19-year NASCAR veteran had been in the lead during Sunday's annual race when he was bumped from behind, causing him to crash into the wall.

Another car then smashed into the driver's side of Newman's vehicle, sending it flying before it landing on the ground, upside-down, and bursting into flames.

Check it out below, though be warned it's pretty rough.
