Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

U.S. Gas Prices Soar To Record National Average

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.567, one day after dropping one-tenth of a cent.

The average price is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 3.2 cents lower than one month ago but 21.2 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 4.8 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.518, one day after remaining changed. It is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 2.8 cents lower than one month ago but 20.5 cents more than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped 2.7 cents since the start of the year.
