Tiger at a NYC Zoo Tests Positive for Coronavirus

A 4-year-old Malayan tiger at a New York City zoo has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Bronx Zoo has made the first of its kind announcement this weekend after the tiger was exposed to an asymptomatic worker.

The zoo says "appropriate preventative measures" have now been implemented to care for the animals and minimize exposure.

The Wildlife Conservation Society says six other large cats are also showing symptoms of a dry cough and decrease in appetite, but are expected to fully recover
