Robots Replace Japanese Students at Graduation Amid Pandemic

With school graduations being canceled all over thanks to the coronavirus, many students are missing out on a major life event.

However, Business Breakthrough University in Tokyo got a bit creative with its workaround.

The school sent robot versions of students, dressed in a cap and gown, to walk the aisle and receive their diplomas.

The robots were controlled from home by the students and had a tablet at eye level with the student's face on the screen.
