Some of the most inspirational heroes that have emerged during the coronavirus pandemic are the health care workers on the front lines, treating patients and trying to save lives from this devastating virus known as COVID-19.
That's why Aerosoles honored the hardworking healthcare and essential workers by giving away 1,000 pairs of its comfiest shoes to those who are on their feet all day (the giveaway has since closed). The brand solicited entries from people on its Instagram account on March 27.
In a message sent to customers shortly after the giveaway, the shoe brand said they were amazed at the number of responses to the sneaker giveaway and that they were so motivated by the responses and kind words, that they were exploring additional ways to continue to support people on the front lines of the pandemic.
Additionally, Aerosoles announced they will donate 10% of proceeds from its "Share the Love" Collection to Feeding America, which supports crucial food banks across the country.
