Protest Staged Outside Pelosi's Home Over Salon Visit

It looks like Nancy Pelosi's recent trip to the salon is going to haunt her for quite some time...

The House Speaker reportedly came home last Thursday to find her San Francisco home adorned with hundreds of hair curlers and blow dryers, hung up by protestors who apparently took issue with Pelosi's salon visit, which violated California's coronavirus restrictions.

"What she has done is slap the face of not just a salon owner but every woman, every man, every person who’s unemployed in the state of California, who has lost their jobs and lost their livelihoods, many of whom are my friends," one protestor said.

Pelosi's August 31st visit to eSalonSF gained attention when a video surfaced online showing her in the closed salon without a protective mask... She's since apologized and accused the salon's owner of setting her up.

“As it turns out it was a set up. So I take responsibility for falling for a set up,” Pelosi said.

When asked about the protest at Pelosi's home, San Francisco Mayor London Breed told reporters it was "time to move on."

On Thursday, President Trump tweeted about the salon drama, saying: “crazy Nancy Pelosi said she was set up by the beauty parlor owner when she improperly had the salon opened. Does anyone want a speaker of the house who can be set up so easily.”
