Southland Gas Prices Rise Slightly

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose six-tenths of a cent today to $3.148.

The average price is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago, 3.2 cents lower than one month ago and 74.7 cents cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price rose three-tenths of a cent to $3.114. It is the same as one week ago, 2.8 cents lower than one month ago and 72.5 cents cheaper than one year ago.
