Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.155 one day after rising two-tenths of a cent.

The price is two-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and four- tenths of a cent higher than one month ago but 52.9 cents less than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 46 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price was unchanged, remaining at $3.133, one day after rising three-tenths of a cent. It is a half-cent more than one week ago and 1.6 cents higher than one month ago but 46.9 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped 41.2 cents since the start of the year.
