Nike Wants to Resell Your Lightly Used Shoes in Stores

In an effort to be eco-friendly and reduce waste, Nike has announced it will resell returned sneakers at a discount.

Nike officials say stores will accept shoes that are gently worn, or have a manufacturing flaw, and then clean and sanitize them before putting them back on the shelves.

The refurbished shoes will be displayed in a special section of some stores and be sold for a reduced price.

The company said that any shoes that can't be sold will be converted into recycled material.
