Motorcyclist Killed in 110 Freeway Crash

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A 42-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash that shut down the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway in the Central City area for more than two hours, authorities said today.

The crash was reported at 7:45 p.m. Sunday on the northbound Harbor Freeway south of Exposition Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol Officer B. Watts.

The crash involved only a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle, and CHP officers found the man face down on the freeway when they arrived, Watts said.

The victim was described as having major injuries, but the coroner's office told City News Service the crash was a fatality.

A SigAlert shutting down the northbound Harbor Freeway at Exposition Boulevard was canceled around 10 p.m.
