A nail salon in Dubai lets people put chips in their nails! Owner of Lanour Beauty Lounge, Nour Makarem, says the high-tech chip acts as a business card. Customers can download their contacts and social media on the chips.
Makarem says she came up with the idea for the microchip manicures during COVID-19 when there was a push for paperless methods.
Makarem:
“So I was thinking, why can't I do something different from my beauty salon. Something we can do by our beauty services. So we came up with this idea and it's really doing well."
