A police officer in Jersey City, NJ is being hailed as a hero after safely catching an infant that was dropped from a second-floor balcony.
- Officer Eduardo Matute arrived at the scene to find a man threatening to throw the one-month-old off the side of the building.
- Fortunately, Matute was there to make the catch and the child was unharmed.
- The man was taken into custody on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assaut, and endangering the welfare of a child.
