LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A woman suffered a minor burn in a fire at a Watts apartment building today.
The fire was reported just before 2:15 p.m. at the apartment at 11174 S. Antwerp St., near Ted Watkins Memorial Park, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
LAFD units extinguished the fire within the unit by 2:32 p.m. and found the woman at the scene suffering from a minor burn injury. It was not immediately known if she was taken to a hospital or treated at the scene.
No other injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
