2-year-old with Rare Cancer Hopes to Help Grant More Kids' Wishes

A two-year-old girl in Blaine, Minnesota, was able to celebrate how far she has come on Saturday, October 8, after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called retinoblastoma a year and a half ago. 

  • The toddler, Kenna Volkman, had one wish at her party and that was to help grant more kids' wishes.
  • The organization called Wishes and More created the carnival-themed party as a fundraiser to help other children as well as celebrate Kenna.
  • Hundreds of people gathered to show their support for the fundraiser that fulfills wishes for sick children up to age 19. They were able to grant wishes for things like Disneyland vacations and deep sea fishing.
