Even Goodwill Is Too Good for Kanye's Yeezy Brand

The once hot shoe and apparel brand 'Yeezy' continues to take a beating after its creator Kanye West's recent spree of erratic behavior and anti-Semitic comments. Goodwill is just the latest company to blacklist the rapper's fashion line.

Here's a list of some retailers that will no longer deal with West:

  • Adidas
  • Balenciaga
  • The Gap
  • The RealReal
  • Skechers
  • TJ Maxx
  • Footlocker

Goodwill, the non-profit secondhand retailer added itself to the list of clothing outlets that won't carry the Yeezy brand. Goodwill Southern California branches released an internal memo to its stores telling employees to not accept donations of the Yeezy brand and to throw away any items already in stock.

From the memo:

As we strive to maintain the most up to date product information on Elevated Brands available to sell. We are sensitive to current events and take action when designers and brands do not align with our Mission and RISE values. We are currently removing the sale of Adidas Yeezy brand products from all channels, Retail Stores, Boutiques, eCommerce and Outlets, as well as from out Elevated Brands tool.
