Kim Lopez is a news editor at KFI.
She attended Pasadena Community College where she got her AA in journalism and was part of the PCC Courier, an independent, student-run publication for two semesters. She then transferred to Cal State Northridge where I received my Bachelors Degree in Journalism with an emphasis on broadcast journalism. While at CSUN she produced stories for the school's student-run TV station, Valley View News.
Kim has lived in LA all her life. When she's not writing breaking news she enjoys watching Grey's Anatomy, documentaries and reality TV. She also loves going to concerts, shows and festivals and has started abook club with her best friend.
