Dia de los Puercos comes to the Fork Report

 

A brand new food truck is in town and it's porking good!!!

Raised in East Los Angeles, Chef Rick Garcia finds his inspiration through his childhood memories of watching his Grandma Bea work her magic in the kitchen. After completing the culinary arts program at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, Rick studied in the kitchens of several renowned restaurants,  but its what he has learned from the kitchen of his Grandma and his Family at "King Torta" in East L.A.; that he values most. He expresses his passion and inspiration through the menu on the Dia de los Puercos food truck, and works along side his fellow Chef Brandon Laureano, to provide a memorable experience for all.
