According to the Washington Times, in an effort to give a boost to alternative energy sources the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has granted a wind energy farm a permit to kill a limited number of bald golden eagles.
The eagles fly around the wind turbines and get sliced up as the blades come around.
However, wildlife activists are up in arms about it and free market advocates are asking why they don't qualify for the same permits.
