Valley communities near Angeles National Forest don't like the idea of tunneling through for the high speed rail project


According to the LA Times, a recent proposal to study cutting a tunnel through the Angeles National Forest  in order to build the high speed rail project is receiving harsh criticism the neighboring Valley communities.

Most of the opposition to the plan comes from Sunland, Sun Valley, Lake View Terrace, Shadow Hills, La Tuna Canyon and Tujunga.  

The opposition is calling Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich's plan vague and ill-conceived.
