The backlash is due to a scene in the video in-which Swift crawls underneath a line of African American women wearing daisy duke shorts ‘twerking’, which some critics claim is racist but you have to ask why?

In the video, Swift is seen “dancing” alongside professional dancers from a number of genres…Ballerinas, break dancers and contemporary dancers…So with all these various dance genre’s being represented in the video why is the scene with the black Women twerking so racist?
