LA Beer Week is among us and it's packed with events throughout Southern California--beer crawls, a beer float showdown, rare beer tastings, beer workshops--all celebrating the wonders of craft beer. There's plenty to do (and drink!) in Orange County in case you don't want to make the schlep to LA. Here are our top five local picks.

A five-hour experience, the OC brewery tour begins at Old Orange Brewery and stops at Noble Ale Works, Bootleggers Brewery and The Bruery. The tour is free but seats are limited. Email pat@lacraftbeertours to make reservations. Starts at 1 p.m. .
