WHITTIER
- Controversy continues to fester at St. Bruno Catholic School over a stalker and the school's principal.

Despite the efforts of St. Bruno's and local law enforcement to accommodate concerns, some parents continue to seek the principal's resignation or dismissal. They say the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut has increased their worries.

The Rev. Michael Reardon, pastor of St. Bruno's, has set a meeting with some parents tonight.

A group of parents said they hand-delivered a letter to the archdiocese, coincidentally on the day of the Sandy Hook tragedy, requesting the dismissal of St. Bruno Principal Catherine Carvalho.

"We are far more fearful after the shooting in Newtown," said the father of a student at St. Bruno, 15700 Citrustree Road, referring to the Dec.14 killings of 20 students and six teachers in Newtown, Conn.
