Cashing in on your mistake! That's exactly what 25 year old A.J. Forsythe does, and he does it well. Forsythe co-founded iCracked, a company that sends "iTechs" to direct to people's homes to repair broken iPhone screens.
iCracked reported revenue of $2MM for 2012 and expects that number to jump to $10MM in 2013, according to a company spokesperson. The majority of repairs cost customers between $70-$99, with iPhone 5 fixes costing around $200.
“We’re an on-demand group of individuals that no matter where you are, you can press a button and we’ll dispatch a group of iTechs to you in real-time...We're doing something completely different and changing how service is rendered.”
