Bryan Suits was born in Honolulu, Hawaii (long form birth certificate available upon request), and raised in the state of Washington. After Washington State University, Bryan worked as a broker-trainee at Drexel, Burnham Lambert, but the mini-crash of 1989 forced a reexamination of Bryan's presence in the industry.  

Killing two birds with one stone, Bryan enlisted in the Army Reserve to fund a graduate degree, as well as position himself to assist in liberating Kuwait, if and when that crazy Saddam Hussein ever invaded. Called to active duty for Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Bryan served as a Medic. In all probability he created more casualties than he treated.  

Upon returning to the United States, Bryan entered radio the old fashioned way: he called an influential friend. Andy Schuon at KROQ in Los Angeles offered Bryan a job as an assistant producer on the Kevin and Bean morning show. Now a California National Guard infantryman, Bryan was fortunate to be a heavily armed authority figure in the now-poignant "Rodney King Riots." 

The riots convinced Bryan that leaving LA and going solo in radio was the thing to do. After stops in the Bay Area and Salt Lake City, Bryan was settled in Portland, Oregon minding his own business on a solid morning show, when Bosnia called. Remaining in the National Guard began to seem like a conflict with a radio career, but hey, free trip to Bosnia right? 

Wrong. Bryan's year in Bosnia was a "formative" experience. Lessons learned include: 1) evil men look like you and me. 2) evil men don't fear weenies. 3) there is no neutrality when confronted with murder. And finally 4) get into talk radio. 

Returning to Seattle, Bryan was given a shot at talk radio on Seattle's KIRO-AM. As a rare conservative in Seattle, Bryan was stereotyped and ridiculed by elected officials and media snooty-faces, but he plowed ahead with his unique style of humor and jaw-dropping brilliance. When the September 11th attacks came, Bryan was still a member of the Oregon Army Guard. Someone in charge quickly realized that war was on the horizon and all Sergeants with college degrees and combat experience were given great news: quit your job and go to Officer Candidate School.  

At some point Bryan met his future wife Rachel, a police officer, and asked if she'd watch his dogs while he went to Iraq, and then marry him. She said yes to both. After 14 months, a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star and a Pink Clover, Bryan returned to Seattle in 2005.  

In December 2007, KFI in Los Angeles hired Bryan to return to his radio birthplace and take over the 7pm-10pm show. He headed back to Seattle to do Morning Drive in 2010 and lifted happily ever after.

In April of 2009, Rachel and Bryan blessed the world with Reagan Ladybug Suits, their daughter. And yes, she's named after Ronald Reagan (Gipper would've been just plain weird).
