LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The apparent road rage beating of a man by two others on the Golden State (5) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles was being investigated today by the California Highway Patrol.
A smartphone video of the confrontation, which was posted Tuesday on the website LiveLeak, appears to have been taken June 12 on the cell phone of a witness, according to notes accompanying the video.
At a news briefing this morning, CHP Officer Denise Joslin said the incident apparently occurred about 3:30 p.m. June 12 on the northbound I-5 Freeway south of Seventh Street in an area known as the East LA Interchange.
