Imagine getting a skinny vanilla pottay instead of a skinny vanilla latte.
GOLDEN TRIANGLE, Thailand (AP) In the lush hills of northern Thailand, a herd of 20 elephants is helping to excrete some of the world's most expensive coffee. Trumpeted as earthy in flavor and smooth on the palate, the exotic new brew is made from beans eaten by Thai elephants and plucked a day later from their dung. Stomach turning or oddly alluring, this is not just one of the world's most unusual specialty coffees. At $1,100 per kilogram ($500 per pound), it's also among the world's priciest. The Associated Press traveled to the coffee's production site in the Golden Triangle, an area historically known for producing drugs more potent than coffee, to see the jumbo baristas at work. And to sip the finished product from a dainty demi-tasse.
Here she is! Marin Rae Bender. She arrived October 26th, a beautiful baby girl who has changed our lives forever. From changing diapers to getting no sleep ... it has been unreal! My wife #MYWIFE pushed for 2+ hours and BOOM, there she is. I still can't believe it.
I'm hosting the show for Tim Conway Jr tonight, which means I show up a little earlier than usual. I stopped at Starbucks before getting to the station ... mmmmmm grande skinny vanilla with easy whip. I'm doing a balancing act with the coffee on top of a yogurt. Not a good idea. Or at least I thought I was doing a balancing act. I get off the elevator, open the door to KFI, and SPLAT! There goes the coffee. I didn't even get a sip. :(
Here's that group Petros Papadakis talked about with Tim Conway Jr Thursday night. Their group name is Ill Volo. They're from Italy. Maybe Katie Couric likes them, but she always calls them Ill Yolo.
My wife and I had a 3D ultrasound today, and got to see Baby Girl Bender at 32 weeks. We had a 3D last week but she was a little on the shy side, so we didn't get a decent picture out of it. So back we went ... and surprise! surprise! No more shy side!
Heather Dubrow filled in for Tim Conway Jr, and had her BFF Jenny McCarthy in studio.
DING DONG! DING DONG!
