Weeks after dealing with the loss of a brother, a Sacramento family is trying to find out where the man’s body is after the funeral home closes up shop.
When Morris Carruth died of a heart attack on August 9, his family used Advanced Care Funeral and Cremation to handle his service and remains.
Now, two months after the funeral home took Carruth’s body for cremation, the family is still waiting for his remains.
“The new stress is now we can’t find his body. He was to be cremated after the funeral, they told us the body would be delivered to us in two weeks, and it never happened,” said Lisa Evans, Carruth’s sister.
