IRVINE, Calif. (KTLA) — A man and a woman who were engaged to be married were found shot to death inside a car in a parking structure in Irvine.

A passerby made the discovery just after 9 p.m. Sunday at the parking structure at an condo complex in the 2100 block of Scholarship.

Irvine police said a woman who was walking to her vehicle noticed two people slumped over over inside a car and contacted authorities.

Officers found a man and a woman shot to death inside a white Kia, which was parked on the top floor of the structure.

The victims have been identified as Keith Lawrence, 27, and his fiancée, 28-year-old Monica Quan. Police said they lived at the complex.

Investigators don’t have a motive for the killings. Police said it does not appear that the couple was robbed.

No witnesses have come forward, and no one reported hearing gunshots.
