Hollywood has made:

TWELVE “Friday the 13th” movies

TEN different “Halloween” movies

SEVEN Nightmare on Elm Street movies

This past weekend, the movie Paranormal Activity 4 earned $30.2 million at the box office.  If you see the promo for the movie, it shows a crowd lit by night vision watching the movie, and they’re getting the CRAP scared out of them….and they love every minute of it.  Check it out.

 According to the Haunted House Association:

• Halloween is the SECOND largest commercial holiday in the U.S.
• 90% of all households with children will participate in Halloween
• $7 billion is spent each year on candy and costumes
• More then 20 MILLION fright seekers will pay an average of $17 to check out a haunted attraction.  (Theme parks generally charge $50 to $60 per ticket for their haunted park attractions) 
• The industry generates between $800- $1 BILLION in revenue year
