"Octomom" Nadya Suleman is taking medical marijuana to treat anxiety, according to a TMZ report Feb. 21.

"The marijuana she consumes is primarily embedded in cookies and other bakery products," sources said. "We're told Nadya ingests the pot both at home and on the road during appearances."

Suleman reportedly got a medical-marijuana card just two days after she left a 28-day rehab facility to treat her addiction to the anxiety drug Xanax. The medical-marijuana card is a state-issued identification card that enables a patient who has a doctor's note to possess or use cannibis.

Sources say Nadya, 37, doesn't believe she's putting her 14 children at risk by using marijuana, which is now used to treat depression, alcohol abuse, epilepsy, adrenal disease, migraines and fibromyalgia, among other conditions.

When the Octomom entered rehab in October 2012, she said she wanted to be able to manage her chaotic life without drugs. "I am working in therapy every day with my doctors and therapists regarding the origin of these [panic] attacks so as not to have to rely on medications to handle it," she said. Read more at Examiner
