Orange County Billionaire Bill Gross is rich, VERY rich.
He is the co-founder of bond firm Pacific Investiment Management Company, PIMCO.
His personal worth has been estimated by Forbes to be $2.2 billion.
He's concerned that the wealth gap between the rich and the poor is expanding in the U.S. So, he thinks that rich people should pay higher taxes.
In a column he titled, 'Scrooge McDucks' he writes:
"Having gotten rich at the expense of labr, the guilt sets in and I begin to feel sorry for the less well-off.
Now it's time to kick out and share some of your good fortune by paying higher taxes or reforming them to favor economic growth and labor, as opposed to corporate profits and individual gazillions.
You'll still be able to attend those charity galas and demonstrate your benevolence and philanthropic character to your admiring public. You'll just hae to write a little bit smaller check."
