More details are emerging about the life of the tanorexic mom Patricia Krentcil.
While Krentcil spent the last two decades working on her sun-scorched look, she torched a long list of creditors in Illinois and New Jersey, documents show.
There were 22 judgments or liens against her between 1997 and 2010, including $499.90 to a Cary, Ill., muffler shop, $468 to a New Jersey radiology group and $1,000 to the Garden State Division of Motor Vehicles.
She also filed for bankruptcy in July 1999 — the year before her arrest for theft and forgery in Camden County, New Jersey.
Krentcil skipped out on her court appearance, and a fugitive warrant was issued one year later.
She wasn’t arrested on the warrant until last month following her bust for allegedly exposing her daughter to the dangerous rays. Krentcil paid $4,000 in restitution to settle the old charge.
As of last month, she was paying $99 a month to City Tropics Tanning Salon for unlimited tanning salon trips. But she’s no longer welcome there.
