ORANGE – The sale of Nadya Suleman's La Habra home was put off Monday for two more weeks at the request of the foreclosure company.
What that means as to how long Suleman – known as "Octomom" because she is the mother of octuplets – and her 14 children can stay in the four-bedroom, three-bathroom house is unclear. This is the second sale postponement.
Suleman recently began bankruptcy proceedings. Her case is scheduled for a hearing in Santa Ana's federal courthouse next month.
A handful of buyers, on the steps of City Hall here, were outnumbered by television cameramen and reporters clutching microphones.
Amer Haddadin, the former owner of the home, said he was disappointed that it wasn't sold.
