Los Angeles police are still looking for one suspect involved in a high-speed pursuit that ended Monday night in Pacoima. Three drug suspects in a Chevy Avalanche SUV led police on a chase across freeways and residential streets spanning two counties.
It all started with a drug investigation in San Bernardino County involving the sale of cocaine, according to police. The CHP tried to pull the truck over, but the driver, along with two passengers, refused to stop. They sped west along the 210, the 134 through Pasadena, the 170 and then onto the 5 Freeway. Speeds reached 95 mph at times.
The pursuit then moved onto surface streets in Pacoima and Arleta.
