As if the Aurora Colorado movie theater massacre wasn’t horrible enough, someone was trying to sell a custom rubber Halloween mask of accused mass murderer James Holmes on eBay.

A seller identified as “realface13” posted the ad on eBay.   Messages sent torealface13 were not immediately returned to ABC News.

By midday Friday, the posting had been deleted. “The listing was removed because it did not comply with our Offensive Materials policy. Out of respect for victims of violent crimes, eBay does not allow listings that attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering,” eBay told ABC News in an email.
