After venting to Assemblyman Curt Hagman and Councilman Ed Graham at a town hall meeting last Saturday, residents opposing the Chinese maternity hotel have organized a public protest at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Woodglen Drive, west of Frost Avenue in Chino Hills.  They also created a website called notinchinohills.org.

“I feel people are still frustrated,” said Linda Spencer who lives nearby. “They are afraid this is going to infiltrate their neighborhoods before it gets stopped.”

The hilltop mansion is being advertised in mainland China as a place for pregnant women to recover with their newborns after spending a holiday in Chino Hills. Packages range from $5,000 to $15,000 for meals, transportation, sightseeing, a hospital stay, and rest at the hotel called “Los Angeles Hermas Hotel Inc.” located at 15250 Woodglen Drive.
